The District of Nyanza is composed of 10 sectors, subdivided into cells that have villages (imidugudu). Each cell is coordinated by an Executive secretary. It is the same for the Sectors. However, the Executive Secretary of the sector is assisted by 4 agents: one in charge of social affairs, a veterinary officer, an accountant, one in charge of civil statute.
The District is managed by the Mayor in collaboration with the Executive committee. The Mayor incarnates the authority of the State in the District. He is in charge of economic, social and cultural development of the District and the implementation of the government policies. He is assisted by the Vice Mayor in charge of Finance, economy and development and the Vice Mayor in charge of social Affairs. Administrative management of day laborers is ensured by the Executive secretary in collaboration with the Directors of Units.
The Security situation in Nyanza District is dominated by many cases of defilement of all insecurity cases in the District. Cases of genocide ideology are also there in our district, while there are also cases of armed robberies however they fatal most of the time..
